Reading The Bible Convictions of John Wycliffe by Steven J. Lawson at the book club challenged me. It made me see the depths John Wycliffe and others went through in order to translate the Bible into English and make the Bible accessible for all before the Reformation.
It wasn’t an easy read because of the author’s writing style, but it made me think about how much John Wycliffe treasured God’s Word and his desire for everyone to be able to read the Bible for themselves.
