I started volunteering for OMF Australia this year. Here’s the blurb I wrote which was posted on their social media accounts.
“Hey, I’m Sarah. For the past few years, l’ve been pursuing graphic design as a side hustle outside of my day job. Last year, God placed a desire in me to explore if I could be doing more to serve Him.
After hearing [OMF national volunteer coordinator] Charissa share her story at my church, I reached out to OMF to offer my time as a volunteer.
Initially, I didn’t expect to use my creative skills in this capacity; I just wanted to be part of God’s plan in sharing the good news of Jesus with others.
Through conversations with Charissa, I found that there was a need for more people with design skills for gospel work, so she connected me with OMF Creatives.
I recently joined OMF Creatives as a volunteer content creator. So far, I have created social media graphics for OMF and | look forward to seeing where God leads me on this journey!”
